A tale of reunited childhood sweethearts in the city. Zhou Yalin, now a struggling delivery rider, supports her sick mother and younger sister in middle school. Ten years ago, she broke up with her longtime love Chen Haoran, lying that her feelings had faded for the sake of her future. Now, Chen Haoran has risen as a financial magnate, while Yalin still scrapes by. An old photo unexpectedly resurfaces, pulling them back into each other’s worlds. At a class reunion, Yalin accidentally hits Chen Haoran’s car while delivering food on her e-bike, leading to an awkward reunion. By his side is his secretary Zhang Mengqi, whom he seems ready to introduce to his parents. Later, when Yalin’s younger sister clashes with Mengqi’s brother at school, Chen Haoran steps in once more. Through intertwined memories and present encounters, the story reveals Yalin’s lingering guilt and Chen Haoran’s buried affection, weaving a complex emotional journey of two hearts never truly apart.
